We have found that Airbnb is not reliable in and around Marina Del Rey (MDR), with several of our guests over the years dealing with last minute cancellations upon arrival, inaccurate location descriptions, or arriving to their unit that isn’t permitted by the building. Airbnb at your own risk. Because of this, we highly recommend booking a local hotel.

The majority of the wedding weekend will be in Marina Del Rey proper, and there are several hotels with beautiful views of the marina. There is quite a range in terms of cost, from the higher end Ritz Carlton to something less expensive like the Jolly Roger Hotel or The Kinney which are about a 15 minute drive to any wedding festivities. Most Marina Del Rey hotel rooms will run around $300 per night.

Our preferred hotel is the Courtyard Marriott/Residence Inn located on Via Marina (not to be confused with the Marriott on Admiralty way). They have a cute coffee shop and a great restaurant overlooking the water.
